Barry Beemer
Attorney Barry Beemer* is a graduate of the University of Scranton and George Washington University Law School. After completing law school, he served his clerkship in the law offices of former Governor Robert P. Casey, and was admitted to the Lackawanna Bar in 1966. He then served law clerkships with the United States Court of Claims in Washington, D.C. and with U.S. District Judge William J. Nealon in Scranton.
In 1968 he became associated with the law firm of the late State Senator Hugh J. McMenamin. From 1972 to 1984, he was a founding partner in the firm of Beemer, Brier, Rinaldi & Fendrick and president of its successor, Beemer, Rinaldi, Fendrick & Mellody, P.C. In 1984 he became a partner with his late wife in the law firm of Beemer & Beemer.
Attorney Beemer served the Lackawanna Bar Association as Chairman of the Committee on Civil Court Rules and as a member of the Board of Directors. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal Pennsylvania Courts and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is listed in Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in America and the Bar Register of Pre-eminent Lawyers.
